From shear aesthetics I always thought that Mr. Hunter was more interesting to watch. The blue eyes were much more captivating.

 No way if they would have stayed with Hunter I think there would have been way more Star trek. But the other rolles like bones and spock where great in the later pilot.

*off topic, I know, but*
^I do often wonder if they had picked up the original pilot or if by some miraculous event Hunter had been available for that 2nd pilot shoot if he would still be with us today?

Unfortunately not... Since he passed away from a stroke May 27, 1969

However, if he decided to do the 2nd pilot, I am sure he would've stayed the course of the series. And Yes, I would have to say that Jeffery was "cuter" than Bill.

 • Interests:obviously star trek and most other sci fi shows. But above everything i place my babies as the most amazing achievements of my life. I have a 15 year old girl. A 12year old boy and a 9 year old girl. They are the loves of my life. In there i slot my husband as well <grin>. The kids give us a lot of pleasure and we love doing things together. When i get the time i love reading and collecting gadgets. I love technology. Whenever there is something new i want it. My other passion is shoes. I loveeeeeeee shoes. Fashion plays a huge role in my life and the youngest of my children seems to have a flair for it as well. The eldest of my children just recieved a scholarship into a fairly prestigious school and we are extremely proud of her. She is a very bright athletic girl and we wish her all the best. My son is a quiet achiever and time will tell where his interests lie. I think ive prattled enough for now.......

Hands down and without a doubt Hunter. He had amazingly good looks and i think he would have done just as fine a job at Kirk
