We first heard that the second season of Star Trek Remastered would be coming out on DVD only (no HD), now we have a date, details of the extras, and a shot of a very familiar looking box. The set will be 26 episodes on 8 discs, priced at $99.99, and released on August 5th, 2008. The Season 2 box set will also include more of Billy Blackburn's behind-the-scenes home movies, 9 special featurettes, and due to the inclusion of "The Trouble With Tribbles," the other two Star Trek tribble episodes, The Animated Series' "More Tribbles, More Trouble" and Deep Space Nine's "Trials and Tribble-ations."
