AuctionIt’s time for another Profiles in History auction! The auction house that specializes in Hollywood memorabilia is at is once again for their spring auction. And as per usual, there’s a nice helping of Star Trek items up for grabs, including production cels from The Animated Series, Lore’s thumb, Chaotica’s entire get-up, an Enterprise-E commissioning plaque, and Seven of Nine’s ribbed bustier (that’s as close as you’re going to get to Jeri Ryan). Other notable items from the auction include Han Solo’s disruptor pistol from Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi ($20,000 - $30,000), a Batman #1 comic book ($20,000 - $30,000), an original Battlestar Galactica Cylon costume ($25,000 - $25,000), Storm’s battlesuit from X-Men ($30,000 - $40,000), Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, and Chirs Tucker costumes from The Fifth Element (30,000 - $50,000), the orginal 1976 Lord of the Rings poster art ($30,00 - $50,000), a blackscreen costume from the 1933 The Invisible Man ($35,000 - $55,000), Ming The Merciless’ cape from the original Flash Gordon ($40,000 - $60,000), a complete Batman costume from Batman Returns ($60,000 - $80,000), a Spinosaur head and neck from Jurassic Park III ($60,000 - $80,000), a hydraulic Velocirator from Jurassic Park II ($80,000 - $100,000), and an incredibly rare (one of three known to exist) 81” x 81” 1933 King Kong six-sheet movie poster ($200,000 - $250,000).

The Profiles in History Hollywood Auction 31 will run on March 27 and 28, 2008. In total, there are 1115 lots in the auction from hundreds of different productions.
