Yesterday KTTV LA Fox 11's traffic helicopter was buzzing around Los Angeles as it does every morning. But then they spotted something unusual in the parking lot of the LAPD training facility in downtown Los Angeles: Absolutely massive outdoors sets for Star Trek (2008). One appears to be an icy glacier type set (complete with overhead solar filters), the other some sort of spacecraft exterior. The video has been posted on YouTube.
