Everybody's favorite positronic android today turned 59 years old. Brent Spiner, who played Data (and Lore and Noonien Soong and the entire Old West and B-4 and Arik Soong) has been involved with Star Trek for over twenty years now, appearing in all but one of The Next Generation's 178 episodes, all four TNG movies, and in a trilogy of episodes in Star Trek: Enterprise. His most recent film role was in the 2006 comedy Material Girls; Spiner is currently working on the spoof film Superhero, due out in March of this year. Discuss: TrekUnited Forum
