The teaser site for Star Trek (2008) went online this evening: www.paramount.com/startrek. Right now the site is fairly simple, the Starfleet delta sheild (command star), the Christmas 2008 date, and the words "UNDER CONSTRUCTION". Also on the site is the option to register for updates, and links to currently non-existent webmaster programs (presumably for word-of-mouth promotion) and forums - both are listed as 'coming soon.' Presumably later we will be able to view promotional materials like the upcoming teaser trailer on the site. This site is not a replacement for Star Trek.com.
