Jennifer Garner wants to be a Klingon
Written by Derek Kessler on Friday, 04 January 2008
Jennifer GarnerIn an article on MTV, Jennifer Garner again professed her adoration of JJ Abrams, having worked with him often over the years, starting with Felicity in 1998 and in over 100 episodes of Alias until 2006. Out promoting her latest film, Juno (in theaters now), Garner said of Abrams "He rocks; I would do anything for him."

With Abrams very much in the spotlight right now with his work on Star Trek, he's become the talk of the town. The town being Hollywood. And Garner wants in on the action, "I just want to be a Klingon in the movie," she said. "I just want to walk through [the frame] as a Klingon."

So, a cameo for Garner? There's no evidence or rumor that says she'll actually have such a part (or that we'll even see Klingons, bumpy foreheads or otherwise), and if anybody knows that talking about the movie isn't neccesarily going to net you a part, it's William Shatner, though Zachary Quinto partly owes his role as Spock to his active "I want to be Spock" self-promotion leading up to his audition.

Garner had more to say about Abrams, "J.J. is kind of like Juno," she said, in reference to the title character of Juno (played by 20-year-old and Emmy-nominated actress Ellen Page) "It's just his energy, his personality, and he's as smart as anybody I've ever met. Both funny and nice."
