The latest game from Bethesda Softworks - Star Trek: Conquest - is available now. Made for Sony's PlayStation 2 and the wildly popular Ninento Wii, Conquest is a blend of strategy and action set during the Star Trek: The Next Generation era. In the game you can control Federation, Romulan, Klingon, Dominion, Cardassian, and Breen campaigns on a mission of galactic, well, conquest.
Conquest is a turn-based strategy game in which you expand your empire one planet at a time, while managing resources in the most efficient manner (much like the old Star Trek: Armada games). It is up to you how to best achieve your objectives with a fleet of ships, support infrastructure, and a research and development program at your disposal.
And of course, what Star Trek game would not be complete without combat? Conquest is projected to be very popular for the Wii, where players will be able to take command of individual ships and control their actions with the motion-sensing wireless 'Wiimote' and 'Nunchuck' controllers in a real-time scenario.
Star Trek: Conquest is rated 'E' for Everyone by the ESRB and has a retail price of $29.99 for the Wii and $14.99 for the PS2.
