RSS Feeds
So, just what is RSS? The acronym stands for Really Simple Syndication, it essentially is a web-based feed that pushes newly published articles into your RSS reader (or aggregator) of choice. With RSS, you don't have to continually visit TrekUnited to be alerted of new news or forum posts. There are web-based readers such as the Google Reader, or desktop software options, many of which come built-in to your computer. A list of popular RSS readers can be found to the right, along with links to explain how to utilize their many features. TrekUnited's various RSS feeds are available below.

Twitter
In addition to our RSS feeds, TrekUnited is also on the micro-blogging site Twitter. By registering with Twitter and opting to "follow" TrekUnited, brief news updates from TrekUnited are pushed out to you through any number of methods. You can follow TrekUnited simply via the Twitter site, or you can get notifications via email or instant messaging or text message.
