For his continuing starring role as Denny Crane in the ABC legal drama Boston Legal, William Shatner has recieved another nomination for Best Support Actor for a TV series, miniseries or TV movie. Shatner already won the same award in 2005, during Boston Legal's first season. He also has won two Emmys for the Denny Crane character, for a guest role on The Practice and for his role on Boston Legal, both during the 2004-2005 season. Shatner has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor award every year since.
Also nominated for the Golden Globe awards are Bryan Fuller, former producer and writer for Star Trek: Voyager for his creation of the show Pushing Daisies (which is up for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical) and John Logan (the scribe behind Star Trek Nemesis), for Sweeney Todd. Due in theaters on December 21st, the film was nominated for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical.
The 65th annual Golden Globes Awards ceremony will be held on January 13, 2008 - one month from today. Let's hope that Bill, Bryan, and John have to make some room on their trophy shelves.
