Eric Bana wins second Best Actor award

Eric BanaFuture Star Trek villian Eric Bana (Nero) yesterday won the Australian Film Industry Awards' Best Actor trophy. For a second time. This time around he won for his role in Romulus, My Father. Previously, in 2000, he won for playing the title part in Chopper. Bana also snagged the Reader's Choice Award, a best actor award voted on by Australian News Limited newspaper reads. In total, Romulus, My Father was nominated for 15 awards, and also won the Best Film, Best Supporting Actor (Martin Csokas), and Young Actor (Kodi Smit-McPhee) awards.
