Written by Derek Kessler on Wednesday, 28 November 2007
New VoyagesCongratulations to James Cawley, George Takei, and everyone involved with the production of Star Trek: New Voyages! The critically acclaimed fan-produced continuation of the original Star Trek has just snagged the award for best science fiction web series in TV Guide's first ever Online Video Awards. New Voyage's latest episode "World and Time Enough" beat out the SciFi Channel's Battlestar Galactica, USA's The 4400, and the digital limited animation series Afterworld.

Other winners included a Saturday Night Live sketch for Funniest Web Video, fake public service announcements from NBC's The Office for Best Extras, and Santuary as the best Original Web Drama Series. For videos and a list of all winners and nominees, visit the TV Guide Website.
