Courtesy of yours truly. Seeing as Paramount has seen it fit to move back the premiere date for Star Trek to May 8, 2009, I've redone Mac the countdown widget to point to our new date. It's pretty simple really; it counts down to 00:00:00 on May 8th, 2009, and the left side serves as a link to the TrekUnited news page for Star Trek (2009) news. Screenshot, download link, and installation instructions follow.
Installation is fairly straightforward: 1. Download the zip file (st09countdown.zip). **If you are using Safari, you can stop here and launch Dashboard. If not, carry on** 2. Open the zip file (this will extract the enclosed widget). 3. Double click on the new widget incon to install on your Dashboard 4. Click 'Install' to, well, install the widget. 5. And click 'Keep.' You can click and hold anywhwere on the widget to move it around your dashboard. 6. That's it.
