Dispatches from the Romulan War
Written by Tyler Edwards on Wednesday, 07 November 2007
Dispatches from the Romulan WarSave Enterprise has launched a new fan fiction series titled "Dispatches from the Romulan War.". It differs from traditional a fan fiction story by taking the form of a series of news reports about Romulan War, rather than a narrative story. We are planning on producing a variety of reports, coverage will range from reporting during the soon-to-happen epic battles to personal interest stories about those on the front lines and the homefront. Additionally, the reports will be filed from a variety of perspectives; from Humans to Vulcans to Tellarites and more.

The Romulan war is a clearly pivotal moment in Star Trek history that we have only seen mere hints of. From Picard's mention of the attack on Salem One to the Romulan meddlings and probings in emerging galactic affairs in Enterprise, we know very little about what exactly happened. It is the intention of Dispatches from the Romulan War (DRW) to fill in the blanks. Reports will be filed chronologically and the story will slowly unfold through the reports. As of right now, we don't know where this is going to go.

Rather than having a rigid writing team we have decided to allow anyone to submit their stories. Those interested should contact the DRW team leader Ensign Edwards via private message, who will approve stories and send them to Captain Hair for editing and publication. We obviously cannot promise that all submissions will be published, but all will be given a careful reading and a fair evaluation. Please read the submission guidelines before submitting your reports.
