Patrick Stewart to bring Macbeth to the USA

Patrick StewartPatrick Stewart has been scoring critical acclaim since his return to the London theatre stage where he began his acting career. Stewart and Kate Fleetwood - playing Lady Macbeth - will perform a six week run of Macbeth in Brooklyn, New York, starting in February of next year. Stewart won the award for Best Performance in a Play at the 2007 TMA Awards for his performace of the title character in Macbeth.
   
Stewart has also announced plans to star as Claudius alongside David Tennant next year in a production of another Shakespeare great, Hamlet.
