Patrick Stewart has been scoring critical acclaim since his return to the London theatre stage where he began his acting career. Stewart and Kate Fleetwood - playing Lady Macbeth - will perform a six week run of Macbeth in Brooklyn, New York, starting in February of next year. Stewart won the award for Best Performance in a Play at the 2007 TMA Awards for his performace of the title character in Macbeth.
Stewart has also announced plans to star as Claudius alongside David Tennant next year in a production of another Shakespeare great, Hamlet.
