Due to overwhelming demand, Fathom Events - the company that organized the theatrical showings for the remastered version of The Menagerie, has added another date - Thursday, November 15th, with screenings at 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm. The two part remastered episode will be the first time a Star Trek episode has been screened at this level - more than 300 theaters nationwide.
The screenings will be in full high definition with complete surround sound, as part of the promotions for the upcoming Star Trek Remastered season one HD DVD set. This special event will feature an introduction from Gene Roddenberry's son, Eugene 'Rod' Roddenberry, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the making of TOS-R.
