New Voyages nominated for TV Guide Online Video Awards |

 TV Guide, the preeminent US publication on the television entertainment industry, is wading into new territory - online video. In the past year online entertainment has grown by leaps and bounds, from the growth of distribution of traditional programming via outlets like Apple's iTunes, and with the ever growing popularity of original series like Star Trek: New Voyages. In recognition of that fact, TV Guide is honoring the best in online video, and you get to choose who gets the award.
TV Guide has broken down the voting into 18 separate categories, including 'Sci-Fi Webisodes.' The nominees for our favorite category include Battlestar Galactica (scifi.com), The 4400 (USAnetwork.com), Afterworld (a digital limited animation series about the disappearance of most of the world's population), and Star Trek: New Voyages.
The other categories are Funniest Web Video, Original Web Drama Series, Original Web Comedy Series, Original Web Reality Series, Web Talk Show, Web Actor, Web Actress, Funniest Duo, Comedy Web Site, Animated Web Video, Web Behind The Scenes Video, Celebrity Web Video, Best Extras, TV Drama Webisodes, TV Comedy Webisodes, TV Reality Webisodes, and TV Show Site.
