As you may have read, Save Enterprise is instituting a change in direction and taking on a greater breadth of Enterprise fandom. The first way will be with the beginning of what has been termed the "Interactive Season Five." Essentially, it is a fan-driven, post-based, role-playing fifth season to be played out on the TrekUnited Forum. Each episode will be given a basic plot at the outset, but how the story evolves and ultimately ends is entirely based on the actions of the players. Current planned storylines include a visit to Denobula, a temporal cold war story, and of course plots relating to the Romulan war.
Players will be able to chose to play as characters from the series (such as Captain Archer or T'Pol), as an entirely new character, or even as a guest character for one or more episodes. If you want to play but don't have much time don't worry, we have provisions in the guidelines that will allow even casual players to function as a member of the team.
We have been and are including fan involvement in virtually every level of development. The season premiere is being chosen by a poll in the Save Enterprise forum and everyone is welcome to contribute plot ideas. If you have a plot idea, please contact Ensign Edwards.
The concept is still under development but we believe we should be able to launch the first episode very soon. Also expect to see the official IS5 trailer by TrekUnited's own Skippy_2k in the near future.
