Guest changes for FedConUSA, one week to go
06 June 2008 - The tides of Hollywood seem to have turned against FedConUSA, with James Callis, Aaron Douglas, Jaimie Alexander, Dirk Benedict, James Cawley and The Ninja Babes from Space all having to cancel their appearances. The organizers have secured guests to take their place, including Thomas Dekker of The Sarah Conner Chronicles and Brad Rowe of IQ-145.
| Klingons set to invade FedConUSA
28 April 2008 - Two of the most iconic recurring guest characters from Star Trek, J.G. Hertzler (Martok) and Robert O'Reilly (Gowron) will be coming to FedConUSA. The pair both played Chancellors of the Klingon Empire in Deep Space Nine and will do a USA-first: their stage act will be in full Klingon make-up. J.G. and Robert will both be doing their photo-ops in costume.

22 March 2008 - FedConUSA has made twenty (that's two zero) and only twenty backstage passes available for purchase. The limited offer passes will offer exclusive anytime access to the backstage areas of FCUSA in addition to all of the exciting events you will get to experience as a ticket holder, allowing you to get up close and personal with your favorite stars before and after they go on stage.
| Jaimie Alexander of Kyle XY coming to FCUSA
16 March 2008 - Dallas native Jaimie Alexander, who plays Jessi XX in the ABC Family hit Kyle XY, has signed on to appear at FedConUSA in her hometown in June. Jaimie has appeared in several other series, including Watch Over Me and the films Hallowed Ground and The Other Side. She will be at FedConUSA all weekend, June 13-15, at the Hyatt Regency DFW.
| Dirk Benedict joins FedConUSA
11 March 2008 - Dirk Benedict, Starbuck from the original Battlestar Galactica and Lt. Templeton "The Faceman" Peck in The A-Team has signed on to appear at FedConUSA. He will be joining his former BSG co-stars Richard Hatch and Anne Lockhart as part of FCUSA's celebration of the show's 30th anniversary. Since Galactica and The A-Team, Benedict has kept a low profile, appearing in a handful of independent films and guest TV appearance, though he did make quite the entrance on 2007's Celebrity Big Brother.

09 March 2008 - TrekUnited and the SciFiUnited Network are pleased to announce the first details of our official 2008 gathering, at FedConUSA in Dallas, Texas.
This will be our first official meet as a united network of sites, so we hope to see a lot of new and not so new faces. Our TrekUnited meets in the past have been huge successes, with people from all over the world coming to attend. | Richard Hatch at FCUSA, Frakes and Sirtis cancelled
Good news and bad news. Richard Hatch, Starbuck from the original Battlestar Galactica will be coming to FedConUSA this June. The bad news: due to unforseen scheduling conflicts, Star Trek: The Next Generation stars Jonathan Frakes (William T. Riker) and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) have had to cancel their appearances. Hatch's appearance will be part of the ongoing celebration of the original BSG's 30th anniversary. | FedConUSA adds four more guests
29 February 2008 - Continuing its roll of guest additions, FedConUSA has announced four more stars coming to the convention in June: Gigi Edgley and David Franklin from Farscape, Anne Lockhart of the original Battlestar Galactica, and Star Trek writer Larry Nemecek. All will be at FCUSA throughout the weekend.
| Adam Baldwin - Firefly's Jayne - coming to FCUSA
23 February 2008 - Adam Baldwin, well known for his role as muscle-man Janye on the short-lived sci-fi western Firefly and its theatrical sequel Serenity, and now starring on the popular NBC series Chuck as John Casey, is coming to Dallas in June. Adam will being joining FedConUSA in Dallas, TX! Balwin has had a prolific film career, appearing in notable roles not only in Firefly and Chuck, but also in Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, Independence Day, NCIS, and The Poseidon Adventure.
| FedConUSA welcomes Paul McGillion
08 February 2008 - Best known for his role as the fan favorite Dr. Carson Beckett aboard Stargate: Atlantis, Scottish Canadian actor Paul McGillion will be coming to FedConUSA this summer! Paul has appeared in a number of science fiction shows, including The X-Files, Sliders, Smallville, and Star Trek (2008) - where he will not be playing Scotty. Paul has been working with FedConUSA since it was announced last year at FedCon Germany.
| Marina Sirtis and Garrett Wang added to FedConUSA roster
18 January 2008 - We are pleased to announce that Marina Sirtis - Commander Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation - and Garrett Wang - Ensign Harry Kim from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - are both going to be coming to FedConUSA in Dallas this June. They both will be present for the entire convention, taking place at the Hyatt Regency DFW in Dallas, Texas on June 13-15, 2008.
| Jonathan Frakes coming to FedConUSA 2008
23 October 2007 - Commander (and later Captain) William T. Riker, known in the real world as Jonathan Frakes, will be coming to FedConUSA! On Sunday June 15th only, Frakes will be present in Dallas, Texas for the inagural FCUSA convention. Frakes played Commander Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation and in Star Trek Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis, for a run of 14 years as the same character, not counting a cameo as Riker in the finale of Star Trek: Enterprise.
| James Cawley and New Voyages crew coming to FCUSA
31 August 2007 - It has been confirmed, James Cawley and the cast and crew responsible for the hit fan-made series Star Trek: New Voyages will be in attendance at FedConUSA next June.
New Voyages has enjoyed incredible success among fans as the premiere fan film, a continuation of the original Star Trek. They have snared guest stars such as Walter Koenig and in their most recent episode, George Takei. Fans have praised the evolving acting, spectacular sets, and modern special effects - as well as the telling of stories that couldn't be told during Star Trek's original run.
Also coming will be Jack Marshall, the visual effects coordinator behind the popular Sci Fi Channel series Battlestar Galactica. Marshall was also the executive producer for the first two episodes of New Voyages.
| John Billingsley and Bonnie Friedericy join FedConUSA
31 August 2007 - John Billingsley and his lovely wife, Bonnie Friedericy, will be present at FedConUSA in Dallas, Texas, on June 13-15, 2008. Billingsley is best known for his role as the Denobulan doctor Phlox from "Star Trek: Enterprise", and his wife guest-starred alongside him in the series. He has also starred in "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles," "High Crimes," and "White Oleander," as well as the short-lived "The Nine." His guest star appearances include "The West Wing," "NYPD Blue," "The Practice," "The X-Files," and "NCIS." He will have a recurring role on the upcoming season of "24" and well guest-star on "CSI" and the new NBC series "Journeyman." Bonnie will be starring in the upcoming NBC series "Chuck."

01 August 2007 - We are proud to announce the first details of FedConUSA's premiere event. The 2008 convention will be held at the luxurious Hyatt Regency DFW, in Dallas, Texas, from June 13-15. Our ticket offering currently includes Gold and Economy packages, from only $99. Every attendee will receive reserved seating for main programming, access to all guest panels, workshops, exhibitions, meeting rooms and parties (excluding the Celebration Feast), a ConPack, which will include information about convention activities, and convention souvenirs. The Gold package also includes additional souvenir items, as well as in person autographs with all the guests.
