Sci Fi Channel Postcard Campaign Under Way
Written by Alan Alderton and Terrell T. Himmelheber on Saturday, 30 September 2006
Save EnterpriseThis week, the fans of Star Trek are encouraged to participate in the preparation of the postcard campaign to Sci Fi Channel. The organizers are hoping to persuade the Sci Fi Channel (the new home of syndicated Star Trek: Enterprise reruns) to negotiate with CBS Corporation for the continued production of new episodes of Enterprise. We are asking everyone to choose their favorite ‘slogans’ for use on the postcards to kick off the mailing phase of the resurgent campaign.

With the syndication of Enterprise scheduled to begin in fall of this year (exact dates were not available at press time), we believe this to be an opportune chance to propose the production of a fifth and continuing seasons of Enterprise, and for negotiations for said production to commence between CBS Corporation and the Sci Fi Channel. If they hear from enough fans, Sci Fi may be persuaded to finance further seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Numerous forum members have contributed dozens of slogans, so many that the voting process had to be split into five separate polls. Every member has the ability to vote once in each poll. At the conclusion of this round of voting, the top two selections from each poll will be combined into a final poll. The results will determine the order of use as the postcards are sent to the Sci Fi Channel.

To review the choices and vote, follow the links below. Registration (free, as always) is required to vote, and will also allow your use of the forum’s posting abilities, gallery uploads, and personalized blogs.
