About Us

TrekUnitedTrekUnited was formed in February 2005. Our sole purpose at that time was to save Star Trek: Enterprise from cancellation. We raised 3.14 million dollars in less than two months, hoping to fund a fifth season of Enterprise. With all the Star Trek fans coming to our site and the amount of money we raised, we rapidly became the largest and one of the most controversial fan-run campaigns on the Internet.

The media attention directed at TrekUnited was staggering. In total, our staff has been involved in over 300 interviews, including MSNBC, CNN, newspaper, and live radio.

You may be saying, "The campaign was not a success. Enterprise has not returned." The truth is, we raised awareness of Star Trek, showed tremendous support for Enterprise, and have been uniting fans on a daily basis. You are here! So yes, we have been a huge success.

Although we have, as yet, been unsuccessful in our campaign to win further seasons for Enterprise, we are continuing our fight for more Enterprise from Paramount/Viacom. One of our other goals is  to become the largest website on the Internet for all things Star Trek, as well as science fiction topics in general. Our member base has expanded beyond belief. We offer one of the friendliest community forums on the Internet, dedicated to chat about Trek and other related items. Please stop by and visit our online community. You won't be disappointed, and you just might make some new friends!

If you are here to try and help bring back Enterprise, the fight continues against the odds, so please join our campaign to resurrect the show. If you have any suggestions for our website, please feel free to drop us a line. We would be happy to hear from you.

Here are just a few of the services we provide. We are always looking to give you more to do, so keep your eyes open for news of upcoming projects.

  • News - Bringing you the latest news from the world of Star Trek and related Sci-Fi and Sci-Fact.
  • Conventions - Bringing you the latest information from conventions world-wide. A central directory of as many conventions as we can get our hands on.
  • Fan Productions - TrekUnited is in regular contact with Fan Productions world-wide, and not only will we be bringing you the latest news on production, but we also aim to provide a complete directory of Star Trek Fan Productions, past, present and future.
  • Hailing Frequencies Open - Our monthly newsletter, providing Star Trek news and project updates from TrekUnited.
  • Community - Our community currently has over 4000 members, and is increasing everyday. From General Discussion, to Trek Talk, to Sci-Fi discussions. Our forum also provides the best way to contact the TrekUnited staff, and the best way for you to become part of the team.
  • Member Projects - Apart from the SaveEnterprise campaign, we also aim to offer projects for our members to participate in. The nature of these projects varies greatly, but we are currently aiming to re-build our Community Outreach program, which includes charitable projects, such as our Distributed Computing Team

Thank you for visiting TrekUnited, and we hope you enjoy the services we provide.
