Starbase Indy - Time Is Almost Up
Written by AdmiralRooster on Tuesday, 26 September 2006
Starbase IndyWe hope you enjoyed celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Star Trek, wherever you were. Now that they are out of the way, it's that time of year again - The TrekUnited Official Meet 2006. We will once again be returning to Starbase Indy in Indianapolis, where we hope to have the biggest international TU meet yet, with members from right across the globe making the unprecidented effort to show thier face at Starbase Indy. Members from Germany, Australia, Ireland, Canada and England, as well as the USA. We are so excited by what the convention has to offer this year, and we want you to enjoy it with us.

Starbase Indy has partnered with TrekUnited for the eleventh generation, and we are proud to be bringing you some of the best talent from the Sci-Fi genre.

Starbase Indy have also announced the details of thier surprise performance. Starbase Indy: Whose Line Is It Anyway? Anyone that has watched this popular show hosted by Drew Carey with regulars like Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, and Colin Mochrie must know the side-splitting humor that goes on during this 30 minute program is unbelievable. Although we will not have Drew, Ryan, Wayne or Colin, we will have some of our favorite sci-fi stars making us laugh. You will not want to miss our guests on the stage doing what they do best, perform. Schedule details still to come.

Katee Sackhoff, from Battlestar Galactica, will be making her only US appearence at Starbase Indy this year. Christopher Judge, from Stargate SG-1, Denise Crosby, from Star Trek: TNG, and other great names such as Dean Haglund, from The X-Files, and Gary Graham, from Star Trek: Enterprise. Manny Coto, co-executive producer of Star Trek: Enterprise, will also be joining us for the weekend, as well as David Reddick, creator of StarTrek.com's 'The Trek Life'.

Join these guests, and more, with a fun filled, eventful weekend for the family. We look forward to it every year, and we hope you decide to join us.
