 Welcome one and all to our new look site. We're still working on it to some extent, but we've found the best way to work out appearence bugs, is to make it live, and go with the flow. So while this is how it will look mostly, we will continue to make improvements, to ensure your use of the site remains enjoyable. Feel free to take a look around, there's a lot of rearrangement that's occured, and some technical upgrades to. Click "Read More..." to find out a little bit more about what we've done.
Apart from the appearence, we've tried to focus on making the site easy to use, not just for you, but for our staff also. Witht hat in mind, one of the main changes which we have implemented is the dividing of news into four categories. These are: - TrekUnited News and Announcements
- Star Trek Television, Movie and Cast News
- Related Science and Technology News
- Other News
By doing this, we are able to clearly define the type of news we will post, which will hopefully make it easier for us to judge in the future. The biggest technical change you will notice is the login system. Now when you register with our site, you will automatically be added to the TrekUnited Member Directory. This member directory is shared amongst the TrekUnited network, which currently includes: - TrekUnited.com, and its forum
- Galactica.com, and its forum
You can now login, and out, without re-registering at any of the listed sites. Register at one, and your login details will work at all of them. Over the coming weeks, we will be releasing a series of articles, outlining, and describing, the new features we have available at TrekUnited, from blogs, to photo galleries, to out network of sites. so keep your eye out for them.
