Direct-to-DVD Petition Breaks 10,000 Signatures
Written by Ryan Stevenson on Wednesday, 20 September 2006

EnterpriseAfter many months of campaigning, the Direct-to-DVD petition has broken through the 10,000 signature barrier that had been the goal of petition organizers and Star Trek: Enterprise fans. The petition was created by ChristopherPike in January of 2006 to support the Direct-to-DVD campaign that was launched by TrekUnited. It was followed in April with the creation of the Direct-to-DVD trailer by Skippy 2k. The total signatures have increased in excess of 1000 signatures per month.

The petition is still available for anybody who wishes to sign it. You can also view the Direct-to-DVD trailer - a link is provided on the petition page, as well as a video by ChristopherPike celebrating 40 years of Star Trek

At press time more than 11,500 people from over eighty countries have signed the petition online, showing that this truly is a global effort to bring back Star Trek: Enterprise.
