New ST09 website from Intel
Written by Derek Kessler on Thursday, 24 July 2008
Star Trek (2009)Yes, Intel, the chip-makers. Apparently teaming up with Paramount for the promotion of Star Trek (2009) is the world’s largest computer chip manufacture, Intel. The “Starfleet Shipyard NCC-1701” website comes with three things. The first is a computer-generated image of a corridor that looks an awful lot like that of the Enterprise NX-01 from Star Trek: Enterprise. This contrasts greatly with the hidden corridor image from the NCC-1701.com website, so it is possible that Intel just whipped this up on their own. Second is a high-resolution version (1943x2880) of the four quadrants Trek delta poster based on the images released last week - nothing new there. Lastly, there is an email sign-up for unspecified updates to the Intel ST09 website.
