The tides of Hollywood seem to have turned against FedConUSA, with James Callis, Aaron Douglas, Jaimie Alexander, Dirk Benedict, James Cawley and The Ninja Babes from Space all having to cancel their appearances. The organizers have secured guests to take their place, including Thomas Dekker of The Sarah Conner Chronicles and Brad Rowe of IQ-145.
Fortunately for those of us here at TrekUnited, none of the Star Trek stars in attendance had to cancel, but it looks like the 30th anniversary celebration of Battlestar Galactica has been interrupted by last-minute production on Battlestar Galactica itself.
In addition to Dekker and Rowe, FedConUSA has added Lindsey McKeon (Supernatural, IQ-145), Amber Wallace (The Initiation of Sara, IQ-145), David Lea (stunt man: Batman, Batman Begins, Wild Wild West), writer Dave Andrews, and Billy Dickson and Chad Cooperman of IQ-145.
As you can probably tell, there’s a lot of IQ-145 in there. You might be wondering what this is – it’s the first product of Sci Fi Studios, which if you’ve been with us for long enough, you’ve certainly heard of. IQ-145 is a new modern sci-fi-esque webseries, which you can watch at www.iq-145.com.
As of right now, this is how the guest line-up stands:
Dave Andrews John Billingsley Chad Cooperman Thomas Dekker Billy Dickson Gigi Edgley Shane Felux Menina Fortunato David Franklin Bonita Friedericy James Hampton Richard Hatch JG Hertzler
| David Lea Anne Lockhart Mark Lutz Jack Marshall Paul McGillion Lindsey McKeon Anthony Montgomery Larry Nemecek Robert O'Reilly Brad Rowe Connor Trinneer Amber Wallace Garrett Wang

A complete program schedule should be available shortly.
FedConUSA will be kicking off on Friday, June 13th (one week!) at the Hyatt Regency DFW. Tickets are priced at $99 and on up, but as a registered member of TrekUnited (assuming you were registered before March 9, 2008), you're eligible for a 25% discount that drops the price for a full weekend ticket to $75.
