Written by Derek Kessler on Friday, 02 November 2007
Star Trek: Of Gods and MenIt's been a long while since we've heard anything from the Star Trek: Of Gods and Men crew, but it seems that after numerous delays - we were originally promised the release of part one for 2006 - they've finally gotten the semi-professional internet mini-series up to their standards and set a date: December 22, 2007, at 5:01 pm EST. Of Gods and Men is easily one of the more ambitious Star Trek fan films to date (contrary to Tim Russ's assertion that it is not a fan film), and features a cast comprised almost entirely of veteran Star Trek actors, including Nichelle Nichols (Uhura in Star Trek), George Takei (Sulu in Star Trek), Alan Ruck (Captain Harriman in Generations) J. G. Hertzler (Martok in Deep Space Nine), Garret Wang (Harry Kim in Voyager), and Gary Graham (Soval in Enterprise), among others; the film is directed by Tim Russ.
