On the eleventh day of Christmas, Star Trek gave to me... Eleven Hako Clones! The Hako Enterprise Bridge that was given away on the first Trek Day of Christmas has proven to be very popular but of what use is a diarama without the figures to place in it? It's like a doll house without dolls! Reaching down into the bottom of the present sack I find that we have eleven Hakos, hacking ... Or whatever it is that they do when noone is looking! Ranging from heroes and villains to monsters and men, these free downloads include a full Original Series crew of articulated Hakos that have seven moveable joints! |

The latest production from Areakt Productions, the home of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier and Star Trek: Odyssey has landed: The Helena Chronicles. The premiere episode, 'Sanctuary Lost,' reintroduces us to the ship and crew that we met in the last season of Hidden Frontier and continues the exploration of the Briar Patch region of space. The series also continues the story of Corey Aster, a character whose story stretches back to the third season of Hidden Frontier. |

On the tenth day of Christmas, Star Trek gave to me... a ten page Star Trek comic! Over the twelve days of Christmas we have many fan productions created and brought to you by their owners, this could be the one you remember the most - a ten page comic brought to you by a new talent to the Star trek fan scene. Of course you're not going to get away with collecting your present without getting an article from the House of L'Stok surveying the current status of professional and fan Star Trek comics and some New year philsophising. |

On the seventh day of Christmas, Star Trek gave to me... Seven Music Vid's! The internet is full of witty, entertaining and moving videos - mostly on YouTube, which has cornered the market as the defacto distribution network. I've scoured cyberspace for links to seven of the best Star Trek music videos and in the process met some interesting people and ended up in some strange places! It is by no means a definitive list think of this as the House of L'Stok's Playlist. |

Filk is a tradition as old as Sci Fi conventions, and a subset of this tradition is Star Trek parodies of Christmas carols which are traditionally sung by trek fans to celebrate the season of goodwill to the accompaniment of much revelry and the imbibing of your drink of choice! The USS Joan of Arc, a Starfleet International Star Trek fan club of Corpus Christi, Texas, quite often gets the whole restaurant singing along with them at their Christmas parties! After the break you can download the songsheets for six of their original Filk Christmas carols. |

Sorry about the long delay we've had here - we'd rather it be correct and late than poor and on-time.
On the fifth day of Christmas, Star Trek gave to me... Five Fan Films! Fan films are by far the highest form of fan production around today but who are they, where did they come from and how do they relate to each other? Consider Star Trek: Hidden Frontier, Star Trek: Intrepid, Star Trek: New Voyages, Starship Exeter, and Star Wreck. Kirok of L'Stok has taken his reporting on the five major fan films producing today and turned it into a chronology that we wager you'll find interesting and illuminating. |

What is easily the most anticipated of Star Trek fan productions of all time - Of Gods and Men - made it's debut this evening. OGaM features many familiar faces from Star Trek, including Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, Alan Ruck, Tim Russ, Chase Masterson, and JG Hertzler. It is also the first Trek fan film to be staffed almost entirely by professional actors, giving the show a step up in the realism factor over the amateur productions out there. In the making for two years now, Of Gods and Men is also one of the more abitious of Trek fan films, throwing us into an alternate universe while still maintaining the tradition of exploring contemporary social and political issues. Read the review with a handful of screencaps (potential spoilers) after the break. |

Prime Minister Samuels, Coalition leaders join war with Romulus Stephanie Chang - Earth News Network 21 December, 2156
Prime Minister Nathan Samuels held a press conference today to declare that Earth's government, and the governments of the other CoP worlds, had elected to join the Andorians and Tellarites in their war against the Romulans, saying, "I cannot ignore their attack on the NX-02 Columbia, and the evidence of their involvement in the Salem One attack seems irrefutable. I deeply regret taking this extreme action, but the people of Earth have been threatened, and we must respond." |
