Star Trek: Excalibur, a fan-produced game previously being developed on the old Star Trek: Bridge Commander game engine, has announced that they are going to create a completely new game based on NanoFX GE, a freestanding development team working on a next-gen game engine for use in all types of scifi related games. Don't expect anything for about two and a half years, but when it finally arrives it will deliver graphics and a sophistication of gameplay not possible on older game engines. |

Producer, director and writer Thomas Reynolds has been stunned by the response to his fan film project, Star Trek: The Expedition, based out of Las Vegas! Not only has he acquired the services of friends in the international Star Trek fan film community, from Hidden Frontier, Intrepid and Dark Armada, but he has also cast members of the local entertainment industry. In surprising news this weekend, Thomas announced that Randal Keith, best known his role as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables on Broadway and currently starring as King Arthur in Spamalot, has signed on to play one of the major roles. |

Star Trek: New Voyages, arguably the most professionally produced of all fan films, will be premiering a re-edit of the episode 'To Serve All My Days' starring Walter Koenig. The re-edit will debut at a gala event on March 29th in Beverly Hills, CA. Original theme music will be put into place, as well as a new ending and vintage 1969 commercials, completing the "A Night in 1969" theme of the event.
