Written by Derek Kessler on Tuesday, 10 July 2007
Fantasy Moguls: Sometime on Monday, Paramount Pictures passed $1 billion in domestic ticket sales for 2007. My sources tell me that July 9 is the earliest that any studio has ever topped the billion dollar mark. The great news doesn't stop there. Sometime this weekend, Paramount will surpass $1.046 billion for the year, breaking its all-time single-year record, set in 1998. The James Cameron mega-hit Titanic was the driving force behind that '98 Paramount campaign accounting for about 50 percent of the total take. 2007 is a completely different story with hit after hit this year from the Melrose Avenue gang.

Following in the wak of recent political scandal surrounding poor living conditions at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., William Shatner and his wife Elizabeth are determined to help aleviate the continued suffering of the injured servicemen receiving treatment there and their families. Back in February, the Washington Post uncovered systematic neglect and horrible living conditions at the military hospital. "The Good Men That Do" Out Early on Amazon.com
Written by J. Swift on Friday, 16 March 2007

Fans were surprised a few weeks ago after discovering their Amazon pre-orders for the Enterprise Relaunch novel "The Good That Men Do" were dispatched a month earlier than expected.

It transpires the Amazon.com and Amazon's Europe sites had an exclusivity deal in which the novel was released there a month early before arriving in book stores. It has been available since February 1st on Amazon.com; a month before it's March release, and since February 27th on Amazon's European chains which is also over a month before it's release in shops in April.

"The Good That Men Do" is the follow-up to "The Last Full Measure", which are both part of the only officially-endorsed continuation of Star Trek: Enterprise, both written by Andy Mangels and Michael A. Martin.
