Dirk Benedict, Starbuck from the original Battlestar Galactica and Lt. Templeton "The Faceman" Peck in The A-Team has signed on to appear at FedConUSA. He will be joining his former BSG co-stars Richard Hatch and Anne Lockhart as part of FCUSA's celebration of the show's 30th anniversary. Since Galactica and The A-Team, Benedict has kept a low profile, appearing in a handful of independent films and guest TV appearance, though he did make quite the entrance on 2007's Celebrity Big Brother. |

Good news and bad news. Richard Hatch, Apollo from the original Battlestar Galactica will be coming to FedConUSA this June. The bad news: due to unforseen scheduling conflicts, Star Trek: The Next Generation stars Jonathan Frakes (William T. Riker) and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) have had to cancel their appearances. Hatch's appearance will be part of the ongoing celebration of the original BSG's 30th anniversary. |

Help, I need somebody, Help, not just anybody, Help, you know I need someone, heeeeeeelp...
The Beatles were right, I need some help. And not just of the psychoanalytical variety. As you may have noticed, there hasn't been much news posted in the past few days, while there certainly has been news (don't worry, it'll be going up shortly). That's because there's not enough time in the day for me to take care of everything that I have to do in a day. I need help with the TrekUnited News. And so, I'd like to remind you all that we do have openings in our news division - and in every department: Star Trek, space, fan films, tech, etc. If you're interested in writing for TU, please drop me a line at derek @ trekunited.com. |

On Wednesday we will be instituting some much-needed changes to the TrekUnited forums... while we've spent a lot of time making sure that everything was in the right place, I'm afraid that we forgot to look at where the right place was. Frankly, it's a bit of a mess, and we're aiming to fix that. Many forums will be moved to better serve our membership, so I'd recommend you click on through and take a gander at the new set-up, just so you know where your favorite forums will end up. |
