Holy different article avatar Batman! What can I say, the Twitter logo wouldn’t fit will in the awkward box. Anyway, TrekUnited is now on Twitter! What is Twitter, you might be asking? It is what called a “micro-blogging” service, where users can update their friends on whatever in little messages of just 140 characters, i.e. a text message. Twitter takes these updates and not only stores them so you can follow a timeline of a certain user, but also allows you to aggregate all of your friends into one all-encompassing feed. |

Over the past few years, Save Enterprise has accomplished a great deal. In the early days, when the powers that be threatened to end Enterprise after the third season, we reacted and helped to make season four a reality. Later, in the Fund for the Future campaign, we raised more than $3,000,000 in an attempt to fund a fifth season. Our direct-to-DVD petition has kept strong for more than two years now and currently holds the signatures of more than 20,000 people. In more recent years, we have continued to produce achievements such as E-day and the Dispatches from the Romulan War podbooks. |

Sorry about the month’s worth of news downtime here. The combination of preparing and working with FedConUSA, the subsequent fall-out from, and the immediately following three weeks of full-time military duty, that followed by a switch in servers (look ma, no crashes!), I simply haven’t had the time and/or access to get the news online. Rest assured, I have been keeping track of the news over this period and will do my best to catch up over the next few days (lots and lots of news to write), so here goes. |

The tides of Hollywood seem to have turned against FedConUSA, with James Callis, Aaron Douglas, Jaimie Alexander, Dirk Benedict, James Cawley and The Ninja Babes from Space all having to cancel their appearances. The organizers have secured guests to take their place, including Thomas Dekker of The Sarah Conner Chronicles and Brad Rowe of IQ-145. |

On the thirteenth of May this year it will have been three years since the last two episodes of Enterprise - 'Terra Prime' and 'These Are The Voyages' - were aired. It would only be fitting for Save Enterprise to hold a campaign to mark that somber anniversary. Enterprise seems to have been forgotten in recent months. It's time we did something to remind people that there are still people who love this show and want to see it back. The point of this project is simple: to send as many post cards, letters, and e-mails as possible on May 13th and to remind the powers that be that Enterprise has not, and will never be, forgotten. The direct-to-DVD petition will also be sent as a part of this. |

Two of the most iconic recurring guest characters from Star Trek, J.G. Hertzler (Martok) and Robert O'Reilly (Gowron) will be coming to FedConUSA. The pair both played Chancellors of the Klingon Empire in Deep Space Nine and will do a USA-first: their stage act will be in full Klingon make-up. J.G. and Robert will both be doing their photo-ops in costume. |

Save Enterprise is preparing to undertake a new campaign to mark the three year anniversary of the North American airing of "Terra Prime" and "These Are the Voyages...". The goal of this project is simple: we wish to recruit as many people as possible to send their e-mails, post cards, and letters to CBS, the owner of the television rights to Star Trek, and demand a return of Star Trek: Enterprise. |

Dirk Benedict, Starbuck from the original Battlestar Galactica and Lt. Templeton "The Faceman" Peck in The A-Team has signed on to appear at FedConUSA. He will be joining his former BSG co-stars Richard Hatch and Anne Lockhart as part of FCUSA's celebration of the show's 30th anniversary. Since Galactica and The A-Team, Benedict has kept a low profile, appearing in a handful of independent films and guest TV appearance, though he did make quite the entrance on 2007's Celebrity Big Brother. |
