Nemesis had excellent music.
"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
"I'm just gonna stun it."- Tucker and Mayweather

I voted for The Motion Picture. I love the music when they fly around the Enterprise in the travel pod.

I enjoyed that scene too, and the opening theme to the film (also became the TNG theme) gives me chills and really pumed up for the movie. Jerry Goldsmith was the man, may he rest in peace.

In the end, for me, I went with TMP. It was hard, and I know people will disagree with me here, but I really enjoyed the score to TFF! It's strange, the two films that a lot of people dislike, I felt had the strongest musical scores.

Recently, I managed to find a copy of the extended soundtracks to First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis, and it begs the question, why wasn't the whole score put out into the mainstream. The stuff that wasn't on the CD's was actually better than what was! First Contact, for example. The cue for when the Phoenix is building up speed is one of my favourite Jerry Goldsmith cues.
I am Jack's wasted signature.

I really liked Cliff Eidelman's work on The Undiscovered Country - it felt darker, edgier, which befit the movie itself after two previous lightweight movies. His opening fanfare was also just brilliant.

They've all done good work, though. James Horner scored TWOK well, Jerry Goldsmith created some of Trek's most memorable themes. I seriously cannot wait to see what Michael Giacchino does with next years film as I'm a huge fan of his.

But yeah, TUC wins this for me.
