I think Mortal Coil is one of the best episodes of all of Voyager. For the first time we see a character whose beliefs about the afterlife are profoundly challenged. Neelix (Ethan) deals with it beautifully. I miss Voyager... and Enterprise!!!...

Can there be such a thing as a good Neelix episode?

Isn't it odd that there are more Neelix epoisodes than Harry Kim episodes?

Tuvix, even though he was hardly in it, because it was a brilliant episode which actually explored something new - unlike most of Voyager.

Another one for "Mortal Coil". Vorta Weyoun, if you haven't seen this eps. it might change your mind about there being a good Neelix episode.

PhotonsBeFree... I'm gonna be nice and not go into my sermon about the Harry Kim development (or lack there of) topic. :innocent:

I'm sorry but I have to agree. Neelix was a terrible, horrible character.

I liked Homestead a lot. It was sad to see him leave teh cast (Except for that guest appearance playing a game with Seven) but it was nice to see him happy and amung his own people, especially considering how the tragic loss of his friends and family left him alone and adrift, even from his own people (save for a few scattered friends).

I really liked Neelix! He was a kind and fun person and one felt comfortable around him. His spirit, all great. His connection to the crew...his cooking...all really nice. May someone tell me why he or she hated him?!

Neelix coming face to face with his sad past in "Jetrel" was my fave episode featuring Voyagers resident guide and cook. :)
