My knowledge is a bit rust on Voyager lately.

Which one (and is it listed) is the episode where Paris is demoted?

I believe that is Thirty Days. He spends 30 days in the brig.

The Chute is a Harry Kim episode but never mind. It's by far the darkest, best-written and most well-acted Voyager episode. Even thinking about it gives me the shudders. It's like a psychological horror. I would put it up along Scorpion and Equinox as Voyager's best moment.

Harry and Tom were the main focus in that episode.

Ah indeed, I remember that episode now. It reminded me of that movie "Fortress" a bit. For better or worse, lol.

I see I'm not the only one that particularly liked Thirty Days. I thought it was a really good period of self-reflection for the character, and worked very well.

I went with "Thirty Days" as well, but you know, "Thirty Days", "Threshold", and "Alice" are really the only true Tom Paris eps. up there. All the others he has to share the spotlight ("Bride.." w/ Janeway; "Day of Honor", "Drive", "Lineage" and "Prophecy" with Torres, etc.)

I think Lineage is my favorite, but I consider that to be more of a Torres episode than Paris.

I agree. Lineage is awsome, and so was Tom Paris, but it really was a BE'lanna episode. 30 days was well done, but I liked Alice better. she was pure :devil2:

I liked this episode too. I think there was a pocket novel called "The Great Starship Race" taking place during TOS. Never read it but always thought it was a cool idea.
