I never really liked Kes, but I'd say Before adn After (only from memory) was her best episode.

My favorite is "Warlord". I was nice to see Kes with full potential of her mental abilities, even if she was in control of a murderous psycho dictator.

I liked Cold Fire. It was an interesting exploration into her powers and the Caretaker species. Even though it was a horrible injustice to the character, I liked her atitude in "Fury." She was so badass.

I chose "Before and After". That was a great episode I thought. :D

Another one for "Warlord", but all of them were excellent episodes!! EXCEPT "Fury"..I really hated that episode. They truly did an injustice to the character of Kes with that episode. I wanted her brought back, but NOT in that way. :nonono:

I'd have to say the gift. It was interesting to see her starting to exhibit her full powers without being in the control of some evil warlord. Plus the way she left was certainly one heck on an exit.

Kes' performance in "Warlord" was not only her best, but the best episode in the entire series!

Cold Fire is my favorite Kes episode because we really get to see just what talents lie beneath the surface of Kes's otherwise calm demeanor.

I just watched "fury" twice and I think it was a really good story, but could have been done much better. It was great to get to see Kes again before she died, but the amount of time spent on her character, what happened out there, why she became so vindictive, her process of remembering the old feelings, etc. was skimmed over so quickly when I'd say half the episode should have been spent on that.

Those of you who didn't like it...was it because of that or just because you didn't like to see "bad Kes" (and slightly more filled out, too)?

Yes and no. I didn't like her as a villain, she was just too sweet of a person. I actually liked her better physically "filled out". :)
