What's your favorite episode that focused on the Emergency Medical Hologram (EMH for short, or just "the doctor")?

Critical Care was a powerful episode with an important message.

But for a strong sci-fi premise... Living Witness should really win this...

It's kind of hard to say. The Doctor is actually my least favorite character in all of Trek (that isn't really saying much, I have a hard time hating any of the main characters) but he had some really great episodes and it's hard to choose between them. I voted for the one that made me laugh the most: Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy.

"Living Witness" is my favorite. Seeing the doctor's reaction when he sees the "evil" Voyager crew is memorable.

But I also like:

"Projections"
"Darkling"
"Message in a Bottle"
"Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy"
"Life Line"
"Author, Author"

Another hard decision, but I really liked Life Line, and there are a lot of close seconds like Author, Author and Living Witness, but that one is definitely my favorite.

There are some really good ones up there, but I went with "Living Witness". I guess I was able to connect more emotionally with the Doctor in that episode.

Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy was hilarious, but so was Message in a bottle. I can't believe that no one's voted for that one! I also like Real Life. It's really sad, but really good. I didn't like it the first time I saw it because it was so sad, but I've grown to really like it. it has a lot of meaning. The other two are just funny.

I liked "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy" alot. It was just interesting to see what the Doctor dreamed of, his aspirations, and his desire to be the Ladies Man. :P

For me, it's without a doubt "Living Witness"

"Message In A Bottle" was the funniest Voyager episode ever, and therefore is my favorite EMH episode :) Though "Living Witness" is pretty close, it had a great story, and the depiction of the "evil" Voyager was fantastic.
