^^^ That's to attract people to go and see that movie.

They really are mean.
That's what I thought of Casanova too.
Funny trailer, but the movie we really sucked.
My friends and I were throwing with popcorn.
Let's just say that the other people understood that (we thought) it sucked :P .

But back to the topic.
First Contact, great trailer, great movie :D

I liked three equally - "Wrath of Khan" "The Undiscovered Country" and "First Contact"

So that means you didn't vote.
Because you can't pick three.

I tried though.
It didn't work ;)

Nah...I voted for just one since I had no other choice - I picked "Undiscovered Country" because out of all 10 flicks, that is my utmost favorite - followed very closely by the other two I mentioned. I suppose I liked it most because it was the last with the entire TOS crew and it was great seeing Sulu finally get his own command and help Kirk kick ass.

I must say that I got impressed by the teaser trailer for Star Trek VI,I just remember the first lines:

"For Over One Quarter of a Century, they have trilled us with their adventures.Amazed us with their discoveries, and inspired us with their courage.Their Ship, has becomed a legend. The crew, the best ever assembled. They had been our guides....our protectors...and our friends. Now you are invited...to join them for one last adventure...For at the end of history lies...The Undiscovered Country".

I just love that teaser, one of the best Star Trek prologues ever!My heart was torn apart after the lines,

"For at the end of history" meaning that it was the end for the TOS cast doing a movie together.

I loved how they managed to put together several scenes from episodes and movies.Very clever.

Too bad that there were no more movies with TOS cast and that the Enterprise A was decomissioned way before her time.I also like the trailers for First Contact,Wrath of Khan,Generations and The Voyage Home.

ST6 with its mention of our heroes protecting us for over a quarter of a century. Plus, i liked the clips of TOS that were prevalent in the trailer.

My choice was the Trailer for TMP.
I remember seeing it for the first time and remembering how excited I was to see Trek again.

I enjoyed the First Contact teaser; that used the title theme from The Undiscovered Country (which I've always liked).

First Contact trailer was the best. It got you wanting to see the movie. How could the population of Earth be all Borg???
"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
"I'm just gonna stun it."- Tucker and Mayweather

Oh man! Great find! I can finally download the Spider-Man WTC teaser! I hate it how they haven't included that into any of the Spider-Man DVDs.

The Star Trek VI (montage across the ship's hull) one mentioned above is my favourite.

I also liked the first trailer to Generations. Slow panning shot across the Starfleet logo, with a voice-over explaining the Nexus. Kirk and Picard meeting on horseback, Soran looking up from his pocketwatch, Scotty raising from his chair, then footage lifted from "Cause and Effect" where a 23rd Century ship hits one of the ENT-D's nacelles. Made it seem more exciting than it turned out.

ok, whats your fave Star Trek Trailer. mine has to be Star Trek: Nemesis, great trailer, made me want to see this movie, pitty the movie didn't live up to my expectations, altho, i did come out of the cinema thinking it was damn good, and i did see it three times, however, as i've seen it more and more, its becoming apparent that Nemesis wasn't anything special.

I felt the same way. It was a well cut trailer set to a cracking piece of music (Danny Elfman's Planet of the Apes).

I always like the trailer for The Undiscovered Country and First Contact.

I'm just trying to remember the trailer for The Motion Picture...isn't it a really long trailer. Something like 4:30?
I am Jack's wasted signature.

The Star Trek 6 trailer with all the Classic Trek clips montaged together...

Best movie trailer in the history of Hollywood...

Well, maybe that's going a little overboard...

But not much. ;)
Gone...
