I really think Lucas should admit Jar Jar was a mistake. He should go back and edit out as much of his stupidity as possible. Anyone else agree or disagree?

I am thinking of doing it for myself, but I don't want to do all the work, and I would much rather have a real version.

AGREED!

However he did help grant the Chancellor emergency powers, which leads Palpatine to a lot of power, eventually making him the Emperor.

Though I am pretty sure that he could've used another senator since there are others that follow him.

Hey look at it this way....
If jar Jar goes with Senator Bail Organa(in theory) to Alderaan, when the Death Star comes many years later, he'll die :clap:

I didn't mind him in Episode II, but Lucas needs to drasticaly cut his time down in Episode I. One of the best things to cut out is when he is screaming in the submarine thing and he is screaming. Also when he stuck his head between the engines on the pod. The more I tihnk about it the more I tink I will make a new cut with less Jar Jar.

I'm just hoping Anakin goes ape shi** on Jar Jar in ROTS. If Anakin off's him on camera I might start a slow clap and consider it the best Star Wars movie ever.

personally, my own edit of tpm would be to throw the script in the fire....
i really thought everything about it - especially the dialgue - was sub-par for such a good franchise...
