Yeah, if you are someone who hasn't seen them yet, I would say watch them 4,5,6,1,2,3. Then after that, watch them in order, 1-6.

I'd recommend watching them original trilogy first, but I do like the idea of IV, V, prequel trilogy as flashback, and then VI.

Oh yeah, watch the updated versions of IV thru VI. The CGI looks tons better than the original.

If you're a fan of Star Wars, watch the original version and not the updated one.
Han shoots first.
And keep in mind this was after George Lucas started going crazy and butchering most of the franchise with a rusty meat cleaver, so I'll let you make the call on this one.

And not to mention that the redone CGI is the worst kind of CGI... the kind that looks decent but not good enough. The kind that looks so obviously CGI-ed that you just want to shake your head. I'd rather watch it with the bad puppets.

I think chronological order would be the best.

2. Attack of the Clones
3. The Clone Wars (movie and tv show)
4. Revenge of the Sith
5. A New Hope
6. Empre Strikes Back
7. Return of the Jedi

When I started watching Star Wars I started with episode 4,5,6 and after that 1,2,3 but I voted for 1-6 because it was easier get to know the story and everything what happened in it with that order ;)

I grew up watching 4, 5, and 6 in that order. Then I watched 1, 2, and 3 as they came out. TO me, that makes the momst sense but I grew up with it so.... that's just my view. I have to say, it doesn't mean as much if you watch 1-3 first, because there isn't that build up of characters and suspense as if you had seen 4-6 first. I remember watching the 3rd movie and seeing exactly how Ankin became Vader and the events leading up to it. That's just my opinion of course :D
