Does anyone know who Syphadeyus {Cy-Fa-Day-Us} is suppoed to be? I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong. He was referred to in Attack of the Clones as the jedi master who ordered the clone army and died shortly after. It can't be Palpatine cause Syphadeyus was on the council and it can't be Dooku or Darth Maul cause Obi-Wan knew who he was. I know someone who read Revenge of the Sith and said it makes no mention of who this is. Just wondering if anyone had a thought. I was hoping Lucas would answer it in this movie because that's kind of a weird fact to just throw out there and then not follow up on it.

First of all it's "Sifo Dyas"
Second, nothing has been revealed, only thing that stands is a bunch of theories that many people have theorized.
