I like T'Pol. Blalock does an excellent job of porrtraying her and the conflict with her emotions (especially in regards to Trip).

Beyond the obvious obsession with Star Trek, I'm a fanatic for Marvel comics, StarGate: SG-1 & Atlantis, Battle Star Galactica (the new one), Star Wars, LOTR, and pretty much anything scifi.

Professionally I'm interested in music education, educational psychology, and socio-ethnic studies (especially in musicology).

Beyond these you'll just have to ask me. ;)

What, no Porthos??? Trip, hands down. T'Pol and Hoshi are close behind, but I think Trip has actually become one of my alltime favorite Trek characters.

Sorry, no NASCAR or DTM, never liked stock-cars)
-Politics and history (although I don't intend to discuss these topics here; I've experienced that only very few people can approach them objectively, esp online)
-Trashy movies (mostly 80s, Tromaville-movies anyone? See elsewhere for details...)

-Oh yea, I watch Enterprise...sometimes ;)

T'Pol taketh da cake! Not because of her looks, but because it's just super-amusing/entertaining to see her as a 'foreigner' interacting with the rest of the crew. It's close though...I almost gave my vote to 'Team-Tucker' LOL! Doc Phlox on #3.

I like Trip. He is an engineer (like me) and add a lot of emotion to the show. My second choice (very close) is T'Pol. Jolene does a great job of portraying her character. My favorite scenes are those in which Trip and T'Pol are together. There is a lot of tension (sexual or otherwise) there!

Actually, I like Reed the most. Then Trip and Dr. Phlox, they kind of tie for second.

Star Trek fans benevolent optimistic and incredibly intelligent."

Ok, my over all favorite for the series would be Trip, but not necessarily for the reasons you all think. I liked him because he was so likeable. He's a southern gentleman and has a lot to say about everything.

But I voted for Shran because he's my favorite alien! :P

Surprising. Well not too surprising, there's at least someone who likes him more than the others.

Reed, no question about it! (I suppose my username would indicate a slight bias in this matter. ;) ) Tucker comes in a close second. Tucker may have charm, but Reed has a certain finesse...
