Asked myself the same thing. Voyager had great potential, but the authors did not use it.
"I've always wondered why it's okay for football fans to go to a football game with their faces painted and sloshing beer around and that's considered old fashioned American fun. Yet someone dressing as a Klingon is considered weird. You don't see Star Trek fans after a convention running through the streets and turning over cars or breaking windows in a drunken haze. Star Trek fans benevolent optimistic and incredibly intelligent."

It's just like the Enterprise-E in Nemesis exhausting it's compliment of photon torpedoes.
PHOTON?!?!?
What happened to those happy little quantum torpedoes in First Contact?

Tricobolt device appears in another ep (can't recall the name, I think it's called Conspiracy or what) where Seven assimilate too much ship and personnel logs and start to imagine conspiracy everywhere ... she conclude Tuvok failed to fire enough yield on the tricobolt torpedo to destroy Caretaker's array completely and that it's a Federation conspiracy to invade the Delta Qaudrant ...
Anyway, I only give Caretaker a rating of 6 ... b'cos no Seven-of-Nine, hehe

We do see the Quantum Torpedoes fired in Nemesis. When Deanna said "NOW!" you saw 3 of them strike the Schmitar and reveal the ship.

True of manually fired weapons.. three is the magic number for most instructors (though I believe I've heard of folks whe prefer two), but that's because by the fourth shot recoil has usually taken you off target.
I don't know that this would apply to a torpedo!

It is, but I don't think the recoil from an 'impelled' torpedo would be enough to knock a starship off balance. And besides, the torpedoes have onboard guidance systems!
