Porthos is cute, but I'm a cat, thus I don't like dogs very much. I prefer Spot (you can listen to the "Ode to Spot" in Italian here). It's wonderful.

I love Porthos, he's cute! But I'm a cat person and think that no matter what size ship, a cat would be much better suited to life aboard. At least until they have holodecks. When does Porthos get enough exercise, never mind fresh air? Perhaps he's the first dog who learned to poo and pee in a box...

They had to let him out for a bit, he was flooding the ship with cuteness. He's gonna run around down here for a bit while they suck some of it out of an airlock.

If I had another option for the answer, I would have said "get two puppies". That way they could keep each other company while everyone is busy.

I'm more of a cat person, but Porthos is so adoreable, I wanna pet him, rub his ears, AND give him cheese!
