I've watched some of the older episodes of both TOS and Space: 1999, and, quite honestly, the spaceships look better than the CGI that's out there.
What do you all think?

I guess I am kind of old school. I do prefer miniatures. CGI has its place and is great, but it is an art to create and filming miniatures.
Space 1999 had outstanding model work.

Life is a constant series of adaptations. and I am adapting as fast as I can!

I prefer miniatures by far - TOS had some awesome ones, but nothing can beat those in Space 1999.

Agree with you,in TOS was really is very good miniature: for example i very like planet surface with orange sky in episode Way to Eden.In TNG(in first and two season) too is very good miniature.
