If you follow the BBC series "Sherlock Holmes" and a few recent movies, then you may be familiar with this guy. If you're like me, then you've never heard of him. I think I would rather have had Benecio Del Toro for a villain, but Mr. Abrams can work wonders so my thoughts are secured for now.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?! This is probably THE greatest news regarding the new Trek that I have heard PERIOD!!!

Works for me, good actor as long as Abrams & Co. write something worthwhile.

I'm a huge fan of sherlock he is a great actor. Brilliant news cant wait. Bad news its not out till may 2013.

Haven't seen anything that he has been in yet, but he has a good vibe. Looking forward to seeing what his role will be like in the upcoming sequel.
