I think last year's Christmas episode was better (more touching), but this one wasn't really all that bad. A bit of silliness when the mother just happened to know how to use technology that's six hundred years more advanced than what she's used to, but silliness seems to be "business as usual" for the more recent Doctor Who episodes.

The ending was nice. I wasn't sure if they were going to make an appearance.

I liked it, Silliness, it has to be. Its made fore the kids.
I like that Amy and Rory ended the ep. Its cool, as companions, they go home, lead a normal life, then pick right back up with the Doctor.

If Doctor Who is made for the kids, then what's Sarah Jane Adventures made for? Toddlers? I get the sense that Doctor Who is mainly made for a more general audience, despite the silliness.

The Dr Who Christmas specials are always for BBCs Children in Need charity.
Its only in recent years we in the US get to see the Specials.

I didn't know they did Christmas specials for the old series. I figured that "The Christmas Invasion" was the first one.

Silliness seems to be the order of the day. It was nice to see Amy and Rory at the end.
"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
"I'm just gonna stun it."- Tucker and Mayweather

Actually, here is the 1993 Children in need special. There are a couple of others usually short videos.

Big surprise. <_<

This was obviously a "B" episode. I'm sorry, but you have to be the biggest idiot on the planet to think that this was an "F". There have been episodes in the original series that were worse than this. And even those, I'd give at least a "C" to.

Is someone paying you to give this series such awful ratings? I'm just trying to figure out who it could be. I mean, you're the only person giving it bad ratings. Frankly, it's getting a bit tiring.

Oh, and by the way, if you do truly hate this series, then ... WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WATCHING IT?! MY GOD!

Sorry about my outburst. I was kind of in a miserable mood at the time and this Greystone fellow finally pushed me over the edge.

I just don't like trolls, okay?
