Lots of wonderful moments throughout First Contact. Normally I'd go with the Borg Cube space battle at the beginning.....the inclusion of the defiant makes it bad a** IMO. But I gotta say the scene between Lily and Picard is just too powerful to resist. I think it's one of Patrick Stewart's best acting moments in Star Trek.

Yup, for me it's "Jean-Luc, blow up the damn ship!" as well. I love how Lily brings him back to his senses by using a lot of insults and a reference to a book she has never actually read. (Which is why I love Lily and consider her my favorite female TNG character ever.)

I'll be honest, it was the first time I heard that song (even though it's a classic)....so whenever I hear it, I automatically relate it to the Phoenix launch.

I just watched this scene today, and it's easily my favorite, as well. As is the case with many great movie scenes, this scene makes a strong impression on the audience, despite its relatively short duration. For me, this was a chance to see an entirely different aspect of Picard's character, as the mental scars of his assimilation- of his violation- by the Borg are finally made plain.

Despite the horrible queen, my fave scenes are the ones with Data, like how he's trying to pretend that he's not scared or his confusion when he feels pain for the first time. But the queen seducing him totally sucked- Data officially lost his innocence in that movie, and no light-hearted scenes from Insurrection can change that. Seriously, when i saw that for the first time i was like "Noooooo! Not my poor innocent Data! Please no!"
But anyway, i liked all his scenes up to that point.
