Are you sure you want to know? I just ask because it seems that a lot of people who didn't give the show a much of a chance before or who weren't around have started getting into it (presumably because of Netflix). I was one of those people who jumped ship around Season Two when it was on before, and then a couple of years ago I saw some Season Three and Four episodes on a SyFy channel marathon. They really got my attention, so I started watching again from the beginning. About my own situation, I learned two things: One, that the show really started to come into its own in Season Three and was on the path to getting much better, and two, that even the first two seasons had a lot of good qualities about them that were apparent after a second look, and that before, I might've been a little more influenced by other people's complaining than I might like to admit.

So I just wanted to give one last "are you sure" before spoiling anything, because you may want the fun of discovering for yourself.

Yeah, they definitely seemed to get in gear in Season 3. Before, it's a bit of meandering, and I think the writers were a bit tentative and unsure of what to do. Get to Season 3 and they are a lot more decisive and the story just takes off.
Honk if you love silence.
