Welcome To TrekUnited.com

Welcome to the TrekUnited forums. The Welcome Center is the best place to start, but before you begin with your introduction, make sure to take note of the following.

The TrekUnited Forum rules can be found at the top of every page, at the link "Forum Rules". Keep an eye on these, as they may change at any time. Additional rules may be stipulated in individual sections, either in a box like this, or in a Pinned thread.

You can also find links back to the Home Page, Chat Room, Member Blogs or Member Gallery at the top of the page.

Finally, if you are unfamiliar with Invision Boards, and how they work, we recommend that you read through the help section. It will guide you through the different features, and help you to use the forum software. Again, this link can be found at the top of the forum.

That's it for now, so why not introduce yourself to the forum, and get the ball rolling. Enjoy the forum, and we look forward to meeting you.

Hello all, Shaun 50 yr old ST fan here with a leaning towards DS9. Sometimes feel I'm the only one are there any more Trek fans in the Northwest of England? Around Preston, Manchester, Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Nelson, Colne areas? New here just wondered.

Hi there, Shaun! Welcome aboard.

We do have members from England - though I don't know from what areas specifically - frequenting TU. If you haven't already, stop by Ten Forward when you get a chance. I'm sure there'll be a free e-drink waiting with your name on it!

Hi, Shaun! Not only are you NOT the only Trek Fan in that area, but Manchester is the home of the creator of the animated Fan Film series, Star Trek Armada, vis:
http://startrekrevie.../solarbaby.html .
A little further away, in Guiseley, you'll find the home of the creator of the two live action comedy fan films of Star Trek Spoof,
http://startrekrevie...2009/06/45.html . I think Star Trek: Tales of Discovery's leader, Thomas Reynolds, is about equally far away but in a different direction.
http://startrekrevie...009/06/143.html (see T). Finally. with the Internet, Trek fans on six continents are as close as your keyboard!

Welcome aboard, Shaun
"Give me your boot." "What for?"
"So I can squash it." "Are we allowed to squash alien life forms?"
"If they're inside your sleeping bag. There it is. Wait a minute. Where'd you put the phase pistols?"
"You wanna shoot a bug?"
"I'm just gonna stun it."- Tucker and Mayweather
